Community Guidelines

Vireya Connect is a community and resource platform for women in combat sports — a space to discover gyms, ask real questions, find training partners, and connect with others who share your passion. These guidelines exist to keep the community supportive, honest, and focused on that mission.

We encourage you to:

  • ✓ Share honest, experience-based information about gyms and training
  • ✓ Support and uplift other women in the community
  • ✓ Ask questions without fear of judgment
  • ✓ Offer constructive, helpful advice based on your own experience
  • ✓ Use the Report button when you see content that violates these guidelines

We do not tolerate:

  • ✗ Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks on any member or gym
  • ✗ Discriminatory language based on race, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, or background
  • ✗ Spam, unsolicited promotion, or misinformation
  • ✗ Sharing personal information about others without consent (doxxing)
  • ✗ Content that sexualizes, demeans, or endangers women in sport
  • ✗ Named personal accusations or public misconduct allegations — safety concerns should be reported privately to our team

Gym Information & Accuracy

Community notes and gym data are reviewed by our moderation team before appearing publicly. Please keep information factual, helpful, and based on your direct experience. Do not post unverified claims about coaches, staff, or incidents. For safety concerns about a specific gym or individual, contact us directly.

Gym Listing Eligibility

Military installation gyms and military-affiliated gyms or associations will not be approved or listed on Vireya Connect. This policy reflects the distinct nature, culture, and institutional complexities of the military sector. It applies to organizational listings and does not prohibit eligible individuals from joining the community.

Local Connectors

Members who opt in as local connectors are representing the Vireya community in their city. They are expected to be responsive, welcoming, and honest. Misuse of the local connector role may result in removal of that status.

Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, depending on severity. Serious safety concerns are escalated immediately. We aim to be consistent and fair in moderation decisions.
